Tom Cruise is set to make a spectacular appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony on August 11.

While the “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” star, 62, has been seen in Paris supporting Team USA, sources reveal that he’s actually been working on a top-secret project.

A Skydiving Stunt for the Ages

For months, Cruise has been preparing for an exhilarating skydiving stunt that will mark the handover of the Olympic Games from Paris to the next host city, Los Angeles, in 2028.

According to reports from TMZ, the stunt will begin with Cruise swinging from the top of the Stade de France, eventually landing on the stadium’s field with the Olympic flag in tow.

An Epic Journey Across Two Continents

The live broadcast of the ceremony will then transition to a pre-recorded segment, showcasing Cruise’s journey from France to Los Angeles.

The segment will feature the actor traveling by airplane with the Olympic flag, culminating in a dramatic leap from the plane to land on the iconic Hollywood sign.

Despite the cancellation of the PCH stunt, the ceremony will include several impressive moments. Cruise will pass the Olympic flag to other athletes along his journey, including a cyclist, skateboarder, and volleyball player, showcasing the spirit of the Games.

Cruise’s Passion for the Olympics

The idea for the stunt was reportedly conceived by Cruise himself and presented to the International Olympic Committee. As a longtime supporter of the Olympics, Cruise’s involvement adds a touch of Hollywood excitement to the global event.

The closing ceremony promises to be a memorable spectacle, highlighting Cruise’s daring stunt and the official handover to Los Angeles for the 2028 Games. Fans and viewers can look forward to a thrilling and visually stunning performance from the legendary actor.
