A Night to Remember

On Saturday, June 22, Taylor Swift continued to captivate her fans, known as Swifties, with yet another surprise performance during her Eras Tour.

The 14-time Grammy winner stunned the audience at Wembley Stadium in London by bringing out Paramore’s Hayley Williams to perform the Speak Now vault track “Castles Crumbling.”

A Special Duet

In videos shared by fans, Swift, 34, is seen seated at a piano alongside her longtime friend Williams, 35, delivering an acoustic rendition of the ballad.

Their friendship, dating back to the early days of their careers, was evident in their harmonious performance. The duo had previously shared the stage in London in 2011 during Swift’s Speak Now Tour.

Building Anticipation

Swift built anticipation for the special guest appearance by hinting at it during her set. “In the process of re-recording, I was really trying to reach out to artists that I’m such a fan of, or in the case of one of the albums, specifically on Speak Now, I reached out to artists who have been so influential in my music, in my writing, who I looked up to,” Swift teased.

She then revealed the surprise, stating, “I asked an artist who I was such a huge fan of to be on one of the songs, and she said yes. London, we are so lucky because when I asked Hayley Williams to come to this show, she said yes.”

More Surprises in Store

The night was filled with more surprises as Swift performed “thanK you aIMee,” a track from The Tortured Poets Department, for the first time, mashing it up with “Mean” from Speak Now.

During “Mean,” she delighted the audience by altering the lyrics from “Someday, I’ll be livin’ in a big, ole city” to “Someday, I’ll be singing this song in Wembley,” drawing cheers from the crowd.

Celebrity Sightings

Adding to the excitement of the night, Swift’s boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was spotted in a VIP tent with his brother Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce.

This marked the first time Jason and Kylie attended one of her shows. The trio returned for the second night in London, showing their support for Swift.
