YouTube creator Twomad found dead in Los Angeles home

The gaming and content creation community mourns the loss of Muudea Sedik, widely known by his online alias Twomad, following reports of his untimely death at the age of 23 in his Los Angeles residence.

Twomad rose to prominence as a popular content creator on YouTube, boasting a substantial following of over 2 million subscribers on the platform and 425,000 followers on Instagram. 

Over the span of approximately five years, he amassed a significant online presence through a diverse array of content, including live streams, reaction videos, skits, and gaming clips. 

His YouTube channel, featuring 156 videos, garnered an impressive total of 216 million views. Notable among his works is the video titled ‘TIKTOK India makes big laugh!’, where he humorously reacts to content from Indian users on the now-banned TikTok platform. 

Another standout piece, with over 16 million views, depicts him ‘invading’ online college classes on Zoom during the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite his hiatus from YouTube over the past year, Twomad remained active on gaming platforms such as Discord and Twitch.

Tragic Circumstances

The news of Twomad’s demise emerged after the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) conducted a welfare check at his residence, responding to concerns raised by individuals who noticed his absence from scheduled appointments and inability to be reached. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Twomad unresponsive. 

Reports from celebrity news outlet TMZ indicate that drugs were found at the scene, prompting investigations into a potential drug overdose as the cause of death. However, no signs of foul play have been identified thus far.
