A Night of Giving Back: Yamashiro Hollywood Hosts Miss Filipina International Charity Gala For Save The Children Foundation

At the forefront of Miss Filipina International’s mission is bringing people together and giving back to the Filipino community. On Tuesday, August 1st, Miss Filipina International will host their Charity Gala at the divine Yamashiro Hollywood.
The event will benefit Save the Children Philippines, an organization that serves underprivileged children in the Philippines. The organization’s mission is to better the lives of children living in the Philippines by giving them access to a quality education and healthcare, protection from domestic abuse, and supporting them in national emergencies. Save the Children Philippines has made strides toward improving government policies revolving around children’s rights.

“We have ambitious long-term goals to help support hundreds of thousands of children in the Philippines — giving them the chance to fulfill their potential,” states the Save the Children Philippines website.

The organization is a part of the global movement “Save the Children,” which has branches in over 120 countries. For almost 40 years, Save the Children Philippines has transformed the lives of Filipino children across the country and has given them the resources for a better future.

CEO of Miss Filipina International Geoff Jimenez was born and raised in the Philippines. Since moving to the United States, Geoff has dedicated his career to giving back to his community and home country. Geoff believes the American Dream means using your newfound success to pay it forward to those in need. Giving to Save the Children Philippines is an integral part of Geoff’s mission for Miss Filipina International.

On this night, guests will have the opportunity to give to a great cause, all while dining in the heavenly Yamashiro Hollywood. Hidden among the Hollywood Hills, Yamashiro offers guests a night to remember as they dine above the city lights. The restaurant’s beautiful architecture, historical background, and Asian-fusion cuisine make it the perfect destination for Miss Filipina International’s Charity Gala.
At the Mountain Palace, guests will enjoy a dazzling night in Hollywood as they celebrate a night of giving and embracing Filipino culture.
