Reflections on Family and Marriage

Victoria Beckham and her husband David are entering a new phase of their lives as their children grow older and become more independent.

In an interview with Nicole Kidman for Vogue Australia, Victoria reflected on the milestone of 25 years of marriage and the continuous effort to balance being a wife, mother, and professional.

Victoria, 50, shared a recent conversation with David, 49, where they expressed pride in their children.

“We woke up this morning and said, ‘We’re so proud of the kids, they’re such great, kind, sweet, humble, funny, hardworking young adults,'” Victoria told Kidman. She acknowledged the challenge of finding balance, especially when the children were younger, despite having nannies and support from their parents.

Juggling Family and Career

Victoria admitted that juggling the roles of wife, mother, and pursuing personal passions was challenging. “We’ve never had an enormous amount of staff,” she said.

The couple relied on nannies and their parents for support. “Being a wife, mum, and fulfilling your dreams in regards to what your passions are and what you love to do in regards to work was enough,” she noted, emphasizing that they didn’t have much of a social life during those early years.

Embracing the Next Chapter

With their children growing older, Victoria and David are now embracing what she calls the “next chapter” of their lives. Their youngest, Harper, who is 13, has her own friendship group and interests. “We’re super, super close, but it definitely feels like that next chapter of our lives together,” Victoria said.

Family Dynamics and Enduring Love

The Beckhams have three sons: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19. Victoria expressed her enduring love for David, “possibly more than when we first met,” highlighting the strength of their relationship over the years.

Summary

Victoria Beckham’s reflections emphasize the evolution of family dynamics and the ongoing effort required to balance personal and professional life. As their children become more independent, she and David look forward to exploring new experiences together in this next chapter of their lives.
