She Shared “The Importance of Appearance and the Launch of the “Love Yourself” Course”

From as far back as I can remember, appearance has always been important—not just to me, but to everyone, everywhere in the world. It’s hardly an overstatement to say that when you’re in a crowd or walking down the street, the sight of a well-dressed, tidy, and attractive person instinctively draws your gaze in admiration. In today’s age, especially with the pervasive influence of social media, we constantly find ourselves scrolling through the pages of friends, celebrities, fashion shows, and various accounts, leading to an inevitable comparison: Am I beautiful enough? Am I well-dressed? Am I getting enough attention? These reflections, combined with two years of research, discussions with thousands of students, and team collaborations, led us to design and launch the “Love Yourself” course.

What is the impact of style on people’s lives?

We believe that beyond our interest in personal growth—in mental, relational, professional, and financial aspects—we are all inclined towards being seen more beautifully and being admired in our workplaces, among friends, in our relationships, etc. The world of style is profoundly deep, appearing simple from the outside, yet requiring careful thought: What should I wear? Do I not have enough clothes? Do I need to shop more? Do I need to spend on every occasion? The answer is no. We often don’t fully understand ourselves—our souls, characters, professional standings, relationships, interests, bodies, and in a word, our appearances.

How do you think love yourself can help people?

This is where the role of a stylist becomes crucial, helping you recognize your body’s weaknesses, understand your appearance’s strengths, and decide the best items for you based on your wardrobe and circumstances, steering clear of inappropriate choices. The world of style, a combination of fabrics, textures, colors, closets, brands, designers, accessories, and details, can transform an individual into a work of art or present them in the worst possible light. Without confidence and self-esteem, it becomes challenging to express oneself effectively in various settings, leading to comparisons with others in family, romantic relationships, friendships, workplace, and the virtual world, wondering if one looks good enough.

How much do you think having a personal style affects people’s growth?

These are the sentiments and realities we’ve observed over the past two years in our students and through personal styling projects, highlighting the bitter truth of the situation. This was the genesis of the “Love Yourself” initiative—a styling course explained in simple terms to help individuals find their personal style. The course’s beauty lies in its brevity, conciseness, and simplicity, making it suitable for everyone from homemakers and students to entrepreneurs. You might wonder how a single formula can apply to everyone, regardless of gender, appearance, or social status. The good news is that the course is fully customizable. Upon registration, participants fill out a simple form detailing their physical characteristics, such as skin color, face shape, body shape, etc., allowing our team to personalize the course based on the individual’s specific attributes, eliminating the worry of what to wear or how to best present oneself according to the lessons of the course.

Where do your ideas and research come from?

Finding your personal style significantly boosts your confidence, positively affects your relationships—whether friendly, professional, or romantic—enhances your career and income, and ensures that you’re always admired and respected wherever you go. All of these factors contribute to your growth in personality, business, social standing, and income. Imagine, in today’s fast-paced and modern world, where appearance is given so much importance and brands are willing to spend millions to collaborate with celebrities and influencers, missing out on the significance of having the right personal style. With the “Love Yourself” course, we are here to guide you through effortlessly creating the best styles with items already in your closet, preventing unnecessary purchases and expenses, and helping you transform into the best version of yourself.Through her LY Project (Love Yourself), Manya encourages self-discovery and self-expression, emphasizing the transformative power of embracing one’s unique style and cultivating self-love. She believes that by loving ourselves, we can radiate confidence and positively impact every aspect of our lives.
