Lala Kent shares ultrasound of baby girl and reflects on second pregnancy

The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star revealed she was expecting her second baby in March after undergoing intrauterine insemination [IUI].

A Glimpse of Baby S

On Thursday, June 27, Lala Kent, star of Vanderpump Rules, shared an intimate 4D ultrasound image of her unborn daughter on her Instagram Stories. She captioned the photo, “Baby S, we can’t wait to welcome you to our family.”

Kent, 33, is already mother to daughter Ocean, 3, whom she shares with ex Randall Emmett. She revealed during the VPR reunion last month that her new arrival is expected in September.

Enjoying Pregnancy the Second Time Around

Back in April, Kent discussed her second pregnancy with PEOPLE, expressing how much she is enjoying this experience compared to her first.

“It’s a lot different from my first pregnancy because then, I was kind of hunkered down. People asked me if I had morning sickness with Ocean and I just laid around all day and ate, so I don’t really remember,” Kent said.

She noted that this time around, she has been more active due to work commitments, but fortunately, her energy levels have been high.

“When I’m ready to go, I’m ready, but once I’m tuckered out, I’m tuckered out. And I have a toddler to chase after as well, so that adds an element of difference from the first time.”

Gender Reveal and Fertility Journey

Kent revealed she is expecting a baby girl during an Amazon Live event on April 9. She shared details about her fertility journey, explaining that she used Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) to conceive.

“I did IUI, which is where my eggs stay inside my body. I went to a doctor, they put a little tube up there with the goods and I get what I get, so I didn’t get embryos created like they do with IVF.”

Expanding Her Pod

This announcement came just a month after she publicly shared her pregnancy news on Instagram. Accompanying a black-and-white photo of her growing bump alongside Ocean, Kent wrote, “I’m expanding my pod.”

This joyful news has been a highlight for Kent, who continues to share her pregnancy journey and anticipation for the new addition to her family with her fans.
