Despite being on probation for failing to register as a sex offender, Petty, 46, received approval from United States District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald to travel from April 17 to July 14.

Travel Conditions

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Petty must keep his probation officer informed of his travel itinerary, provide an itinerary before traveling, and check in with his probation officer upon returning to Los Angeles.

His attorney, Michael Goldstein, emphasized that Petty would comply with all directives outlined by the court.

Petty’s request for international travel was made to accompany Minaj and their family on the tour, citing childcare responsibilities and support for Minaj’s professional endeavors.

The travel schedule includes multiple countries such as Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, and Romania.

Supporting Minaj’s Tour

Minaj, 41, kicked off her Pink Friday World Tour on March 1 in Oakland, California, promoting her latest studio album, Pink Friday 2.

Scheduled to perform in Canada on April 17, the “Starships” singer continues to captivate audiences worldwide with her electrifying performances.

Despite legal constraints, Petty’s approval to travel internationally underscores his commitment to supporting Minaj’s career while fulfilling his probation obligations.
