Jennifer Lopez‘s recent interaction with social media content concerning unhealthy relationships has fueled ongoing rumors about issues in her marriage with Ben Affleck. 

On Thursday, May 16, relationship coach Lenna Marsak, who posts under the Instagram handle @yourcourageouscomeback, revealed that Lopez, 54, had “liked” a post from March 19 on her account. This post highlighted personality traits considered detrimental to romantic relationships.

Public Recognition by Marsak

Marsak shared her surprise and excitement in an Instagram Story, writing, “Just logged on to IG and noticed @jlo liked my post.” She included a screenshot showing a notification from Lopez’s official account. Marsak added, “Jlo or her PR team, I’ll take it.”

A Call for Empathy

On May 17, Marsak posted a video urging her followers to be considerate towards Lopez as she and Affleck, 51, deal with renewed speculation about their relationship. “Please be kind to Jennifer Lopez because she’s a human being,” Marsak said. “I do not know if they’re getting divorced. I hope not, but yeah, please.”

The post Lopez liked stated that individuals “cannot build a healthy relationship with someone who lacks integrity & emotional safety,” does not respect others’ time, “lacks effective communication skills,” and “doesn’t know who they are or what they want.”

Lopez’s social media activity comes amidst mounting reports of tension between her and Affleck. The couple, who were last photographed together holding hands in New York City on March 30, have been spending significant time apart.

Lopez has been busy in New York City throughout April and early May, promoting her Netflix movie “Atlas,” filming the upcoming movie “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” and attending the 2024 Met Gala, where Affleck was notably absent. 

Meanwhile, Affleck has been on the west coast, filming a sequel to his 2016 movie “The Accountant.” He also made a solo appearance at Netflix’s May 5 live Roast of Tom Brady.
