Ella V: Redefining the Skincare Industry

An inspiration to women everywhere, Ella V has been balancing her entrepreneurial career with her life as a mother. Her passion for her family inspires her to work harder. With a passion for generosity, she loves to share her blessings with her loved ones.
While she is known as a TV personality in the Philippines, she has more recently made a name for herself as a businesswoman with her company, V Glow, which encompasses a product line and a beauty bar franchise with locations in Costa Mesa, Torrance, and Northridge, California. Her products include cleaners, hydrating moisturizers, toning mists, eye creams, and serums. She has also released a men’s line with cleansers, moisturizers, beard oils, and toning mists with ingredients that specifically target men’s skin.

“I personally use my products,” Ella said. “My family members use my products. My VGlow team uses the products. We have people giving feedback on how it gives them that natural glow. I believe that a person shouldn’t advertise something that they don’t use or they don’t trust using.”
Ella has also been working with Ladan Baghaei, an OR nurse and office manager for Dr. Reza’s med spa. Landan has given Ella a unique opportunity to continue her practice with a partnership on the esthetics side of the business. She has welcomed Ella’s VGlow Skincare in their med spa.
Besides her work with VGlow, Ella has started collaborating with Esthemax Philippines. Esthemax is the inventor of the Hydrojelly Mask, which are face masks that uniquely brighten and hydrate skin, target fine lines and wrinkles, improve inflammation and elasticity, and reduce pigmentation, among many other benefits. They have many different variants including the Glutathione, the Retinol Alternative, the Wildcrafted Sea Moss, and the NAD+ Longevity. The company launched in November 2022, and it was headed by Dr. Maika Slatenzek.

“My vision for Esthemax would be collaborating with top beauty schools, not only clinics and wellness spas,” said Ella. “This is a great partnership that can enhance and create a unique way to customize treatments.”

Recently, Ella has had the incredible opportunity to continue her practice as a licensed esthetician at Vascular Cosmetics, a med spa under medical director Dr. Khodaverdian’s professional experience. Dr. Khodaverdian has experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Eisenhower Medical Association and Advanced CT Surgery Group. He has also served in academic roles as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota, Hennepin County Medical Center, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Stanford University.

When she isn’t building her skincare empire, Ella is also working on her investments. Most recently, she began investing in Nice and Sweet, a soon-to-open bakery on Sunset Boulevard. She also loves to spend time with her family, and she loves celebrating holidays with them, going on day trips to Disneyland, and cooking authentic meals. Ella deeply cherishes her role as a mother, and loves to think of ways to give back to her family and loved ones. Additionally, she considers her VGlow team a part of her family, and loves to cultivate a positive work environment.
