In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Emma Stone expressed her preference for being called by her birth name, Emily, rather than her stage name, Emma. In response, her colleague Mark Ruffalo took to X to affirm his support for her decision, declaring, “Okay. We love you, Emily.”

Acknowledging Emma Stone’s Wishes

Ruffalo’s tweet came after Stone revealed in the interview that she appreciates being called Emily, especially by those she works closely with. 

She explained that she initially chose the stage name Emma Stone because her birth name, Emily Stone, was already in use by another actress. However, she later had a change of heart and decided to embrace her true identity.

Supporting Stone’s Talent and Bold Performances

In addition to respecting Stone’s personal preferences, Ruffalo has also been vocal about her talent as an actress.
